Lenovo first demoed a ThinkPad tablet at Computex in June. Now they have set the official specs and release time. The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 is a 10-inch slate running Windows 8 and an Intel Atom processor. Specs include a 1,366×768 IPS display, 10-hour battery, optional 3G/4G, micro-HDMI output, 2 megapixel front facing camera, 8 megapixel rear camera. The tablet will run on AT&T’s LTE network. The tablet will also have an option keyboard, a dock with 3 USB ports, HDMI-out, and an Ethernet jack. The price is not yet known, but we know that this tablet will be available in October.
