The Lenovo MIIX 2 is an ultraportable hybrid computer

Lenovo Group has announced a new hybrid computer called the Lenovo MIIX 2. The Lenovo MIIX 2 comes with the Windows 8.1 operating system. The Lenovo MIIX 2 tablets also comes with a keyboard dock. The Lenovo MIIX 2 also has a built-in touchpad. The tablet rests at the back of the keyboard so you can only use the display at one viewing angle. However, you can flip the screen around and use the dock as a stand. The Lenovo MIIX 2 is available in 10 inches and 11 inches

The 11 inch version comes with a 4th-generation Intel Core i5 processor, up to 256GB SSD, up to 8GB DDR3 memory, and 1920×1200 resolution. The display is IPS with 10-finger touch support. The 11 inch model has an SD card slot, USB 3.0 port, mini-HDMI port, and two USB 2.0 ports.

The 10-inch version features a 64-bit-enabled quad-core Intel Atom processor, 2GB RAM, and up to 128GB eMMC storage. There is a microSD slot that lets you add 32GB more storage. It runs on Windows 8.1 with a 1920×1200 resolution. The tablet also has a 10-finger touch screen.

The 10-inch tablet will be arriving this March starting at $499 and the 11-inch is available at a cost of $699 starting in April.
