Lenovo announces 14-inch ThinkPad X1 Carbon notebook

Lenovo Group has unveiled the 14-inch ThinkPad X1 Carbon ultrabook, which is the thinnest 14-inch ultrabook available on the market right now. The X1 Carbon weighs only 2.8 pounds. The X1 Carbon has an adaptive keyboard that adjusts itself based on the usage. There is built-in gesture control and voice control along with support for the ThinkPad OneLink Dock Pro single-cable dock.

The X1 Carbon has ColorBurst Display, which supports wider angles and sharper imagery than previous models. The battery life on the X1 Carbon is up to 9 hours. The system can charge to 80% in under 60 minutes.

The price of the X1 Carbon starts at $1,299. The OneLink Dock Pro costs $179.
