Lenovo announces four new smartphones

Lenovo has announced several new smartphones today, including the Vibe Z. The Vibe Z is Lenovo’s first smartphone to feature 4G LTE connectivity. Lenovo currently does not sell smartphones in the U.S., but they do well in China.

The Vibe Z has a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS display (400 ppi). The Vibe Z has a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, and 3,000mAh battery. The Vibe Z is 0.31 inches in thickness. The Vibe Z will be available in February for $549 in Indonesia, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and the Philippines.

Lenovo also announced two new phones in the S series. The S650 is a smartphone that has a 4.7-inch smartphone with a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek chip that has the same laser-etched design as the Vibe Z. The S650 costs $229. The S930 (pictured above) that has a fabric-feel design. It has comparable specs as the S650. The S930 has a 6-inch 720p display that costs $319.

In the A series, Lenovo announced the A859. The A859 is the lease expensive model that costs $219. The A859 has a 5-inch 720p display. The A859 has a glossy plastic casing.

The prices mentioned above are without a contract.
