Women career website Levo League receives $7 million

Levo League is a website with online career resources for young women. The website has raised $7 million in angel funding from Lubna Olayan and Véronique Morali. Olayan is the CEO of Saudi Arabian company Olayan Financing Co. and Morali is the president of Fimalac in France and CEO of Webedia/Allocine.

Levo League previously raised funding from Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg and former Ning CEO Gina Bianchini. Levo League has now raised over $8 million.

This round of funding will be used for creating Levo 2.0 and to increase their membership. Levo League will also launch local chapters in cities around the world. Levo now covers 22 chapters, including San Francisco, Dallas, Chicago, and London.

The company plans to expand on their existing recruitment and brand engagement services for companies like AOL, Disney, The New York Times, and Southwest Airlines.

Levo League was founded by CEO Caroline Ghosn and Amanda Pouchot in 2012. Levo now has 8 million members and they target women in their first 10 years of their career.
