Google’s Chrome operating system is generally used in laptops, but LG is now stuffing the software into a desktop computer monitor and calling it the Chromebase. The LG Chromebase will be display at the Consumer Electronics Show next month. The LG Chromebase is a 21.5-inch all-in-one computer that has an Intel Celeron processor, 2GB memory, and 16GB SSD. The monitor is a 1080p IPS display to ensure a sharp picture. The LG Chromebase comes with a keyboard, mouse, speakers, webcam, USB ports, and networking ports. It also has an HDMI input in case you want to use the monitor as a secondary display. LG believes that this desktop will do well in schools, hotels, and call centers.
