LG Electronics Inc. (KRX:066570) has hit 1 million Optimus G Pro units sold in Korea. LG hit 1 million in unit sales a few months before its predecessor. LG posted the news on their website [translated].
The Optimus G Pro arrived in Korea this past February. It took around four months for the Optimus G Pro to hit that point. The LG Optimus LTE hit 1 million units in a total of about seven months. This means that the Optimus LTE sold at an average rate of 8,000 units per day.
LG did not say how many G Pros were sold in other areas of the world. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 took three months to hit 1 million unit sales in Korea.
Just as a refresher, the Optimus G Pro has a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with a 1.7GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, a 5.5″ 1080p full HD IPS screen (440ppi), a 13-megapixel full HD camera with dual recording and tracking focus, and a 3,140mAh battery.
