LG Optimus G Sells 1 Million Devices Globally

Posted Jan 20, 2013

The LG Optimus G was the first LTE smartphone with a Snapdragon quad-core processor and this proved to be popular with consumers.  LG released the sales figures for the Optimus G, which reveals that over 1 million have been sold since it debuted in September.  Not bad considering that the phone was available in North America only since November.  It is rumored that LG sold around 55 million total handsets in 2012 and they are aiming to hit 75 million in 2013.
