LinkedIn has announced that they have added the ability to share photos, documents, and presentations. This content can be added in a similar fashion as you post a status message or news story link. The new feature is going to be rolled out to all LinkedIn members starting today.
As the company turned 10 years old, LinkedIn has been on a roll over the last couple months. The company has launched a new Contacts app and updated their iPhone/Android apps with a new activity stream with enhanced navigation. They also acquired Pulse for $90 million and created a new recruiter tool.
To add docs, presentations, and photos to LinkedIn, you can click on the paperclip icon on the right side of the share box to upload them. You can also paste the URL in the share box.
