Comedian Louis C.K. has made a bunch of money by taking full control of his ticket sales through his website louisck.net.  Last year C.K. gained national attention when he made $1 million by cutting out the networks and by distributing his comedy special “Live at the Beacon Theater” online for $5.  On Twitter C.K. said that he had sold 100,000 tickets, which translated to $4.5 million.  “well. after 45 hours, my tour has sold 100K tickets, box office gross of 4.5 mil $ (not all mine),” said C.K. “I guess it was a good idea.”  The tour starts on October 3 at Severance Hall in Cleveland.
