Michael Bi Of Powell, Ohio Arrested For Selling Bootleg Games

Qiang “Michael” Bi had of Powell, Ohio bought PC games and made copies of them. Then he sold the pirated copies for $9.95 on eBay and Amazon.com. As a result, Bi was arrested “for selling illegally copied computer games between 2005 and 2009.” Bi was charged with mail fraud, copyright infringement, and aggravated identity theft. He will have to pay $367,000 to the court, forfeit his home and vehicle. On top of that Bi will have to repay game publishers. If you sell pirated games, stop. [Joystiq]
