Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) announced today that they are launching a new casual games hub. The Games Hub would consolidate games from Bing Games, Windows Live Messenger, and MSN Games. Through the hub, you can also read friends’ status updates and send each other game challenges. MSN Games will have a game leaderboard.
?With today?s announcements, we?ve made it easier to find and play the games you love while connecting to the people who matter most to you,? stated Michael Wolf, the senior marketing manager for Xbox Product Marketing. ?We?re driving that experience across multiple platforms so millions of players can share their experiences with their social circles.?
Microsoft has also rebuilt the MSN Games website and updated the gaming experience on Windows Live Messenger. Bing Games has also expanded to Canada, the U.K., Australia, and New Zealand.
