Microsoft Corporation chairman Bill Gates was interviewed on CBS recently to answer questions about the company. In the interview, he acknowledged that they have made a number of mistakes in the mobile market.
“There’s a lot of things like cellphones where we didn’t get out in the lead early,” stated Gates. “We didn’t miss cellphones, but the way that we went about it didn’t allow us to get the leadership.”
Gates described himself and Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer as being self-critical and he is proud of Windows 8, the Surface, and Bing.com. He said that recent products are not enough though. Check out the video below:
