Microsoft Opening 5 New Stores In Michigan, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Oregon and Illinois This Summer

Posted Feb 5, 2013

A couple months ago, we wrote that Microsoft announced six new locations of retail stores that would be opening this summer.  Now we are adding another 5 to that list as the company announced that they are opening stores in Natick Mall in Natick, Massachusetts  Ala Moana Center in Honolulu, Hawaii Pioneer Place in Portland, Oregon, Somerset Mall in Troy, Michigan, and Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, Illinois.

All of these stores should be open by the end of summer.  Last year, Microsoft opened up 51 new full-line and specialty stores across the U.S. and several locations in Canada.

The Microsoft Store is a chain of stores that sells computers, software, and consumer electronics.  The purpose of the store is to improve the PC and Microsoft retail purchase experience for consumers across the world.  The stores sell PCs and tablets like the Microsoft Surface.
