Microsoft Corporation has acquired cloud-based customer service company called Parature. Prior to the acquisition, Parature raised around $30 million in funding from Accel Partners, Sierra Ventures, and Valhalla Partners.
The purchase price is believed to be worth around $100 million, according to TechCrunch. Parature helps reduce the cost and time commitment that is required for answering the same support questions that keep coming up.
Parature supports over 70 million end users worldwide and works with clients like Ask.com, Threadless, Kohler, and Tagged. Parature partnered with Microsoft last year to integrate their software into Microsoft Dynamics.
