Motorola has dropped the price of the Moto X to $99.99 on contract. Motorola also said that an upgrade to Android KitKat is coming soon for the Moto X.
On top of that news, Motorola announced that the Moto Maker customization option is no longer exclusive to AT&T as it is available on all four major carriers now. The Moto Maker lets you customize the front, back, and accent colors along with the ability to personalize settings and memory.
“Moto X, the first smartphone designed by you and assembled in the USA, is now available for customization on all major U.S. carriers including Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T,” said Motorola in a blog post. “Just in time for the holidays, you can now choose to add a custom phrase to the back of your Moto X. With fiber laser technology, you can sign your design like never before. Show your team spirit, sport your nickname or give a gift with the ultimate personal touch by adding this free feature when you customize your Moto X on Moto Maker.”
