Motorola has unveiled a Super Bowl ad on YouTube a few days before the big game. They appear to be making fun of Apple’s 1984 Super Bowl ad, but it appears that they admit being an underdog here. “2011 looks a lot like 1984. One authority. One design. One way to work. It’s time for more choices,” states Motorola in the commercial. Did they just subliminally admit that Apple is the “one authority” here? What about the Samsung Galaxy Tab, Moto? Does Google not have a 22% market tablet market share? I can already tell that this won’t be my favorite Super Bowl ad this year.
