Mulesoft Raises $37 Million From NEA, Salesforce, Hummer Winblad, Morgenthaler, Lightspeed, SAP, and Bay Partners

MuleSoft is a startup that can connect SaaS and enterprise applications to the cloud.  The company has raised $37 million led by New Enterprise Associates., Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Morgenthaler Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, SAP Ventures, and Bay Partners also participated in this round.  Mulesoft has raised a total of $81 million.

MuleSoft new platform enables complete integration to enable any application, data service, or API connect to the cloud. MuleSoft offers customers Tcat Server, an application server that makes it easy for Tomcat developers simplify application management.  Another MuleSoft service is Mule ESB, which is an open source enterprise service bus that can create and integrate application services.

MuleSoft is continuing to grow.  The company’s bookings have increased 171% year-over-year.  MuleSoft will be using the funding for acquisitions and hiring additional talent.  Down the line, MuleSoft will likely go public in the next 12-18 months.
