WATCH: NASA Mission Control Celebrates After Curiosity Rover Lands On Mars

After the P.A. system announced “We are wheels down on Mars,” the team at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory celebrated. The below video has been watched over 290,000 times in the last couple of days. The accomplishment that NASA was celebrating was the 2,000 lb. Curiosity Rover touching down on Mars after months in space. The landing is known as the “seven minutes of terror.” The whole mission costed around $2.5 billion. Check out the video below:
