Nathan Nabors Suing Google For Nexus One 3G Issues

Posted Sep 2, 2010

Nathan Nabors is suing Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) because he is claiming that the Nexus One failed to maintain 3G connection around where he lives in Florida. He is seeking damages and a class action for residents in Florida and California who have purchased the Nexus One.

Interestingly, he only named Google in the lawsuit and not any telecommunications companies. The size of the lawsuit is unknown. Nabors said that Google did not warn customers that there would not receive a 3G connection even in areas where T-Mobile said coverage was available for the device.

Nabors also claims in the lawsuit that Google violated the Communications Act by making false and misleading claims about the phone. Google ended sales of the Nexus One on July 16th from their website.
