Netflix is working with Dreamworks Animation to create an original children’s TV show called Turbo: F.A.S.T.  Turbo: F.A.S.T. will be debuting in December and will be based on the upcoming DreamWorks movie called Turbo.  The movie is debuting on July 19th.

Turbo is the story about a snail that gets superhero powers after an accident.  The movie is voiced by Ryan Reynolds and Paul Giamatti.

Netflix is on fire when it comes to original programming.  On top of the House of Cards series starring Kevin Spacey, Netflix will also premiere the new season of Arrested Development before any other distribution source does.

Competing against Netflix’s original content, Hulu and YouTube are aggressively creating exclusive content.  YouTube has invested heavily into hundreds videographers to create content that is exclusive to them.  Hulu is working with Seth Meyers of Saturday Night Live to create a show called The Awesomes.
