Nice Systems Ltd (ADR) (NASDAQ:NICE) has announced that they have acquired Big Data analytics company Causata. Through the acquisition, NICE will be able to offer solutions that gives a better visibility into a customer’s activities on the Internet in real-time. As a result, companies will be able to enhance customer experiences and increase revenues. Causata is able to analyze large chunks of data using Hadoop-based interactions.

When NICE integrates Causata’s Hadoop-based technologies into their Customer Engagement Analytics platform, they will be able to offer customers:
– Creation of dynamic customer profiles based on real-time analysis of current and past activities over multiple channels
– Convergence of self-service digital channels, such as Web and mobile, with assisted-service channels to better manage the customer journey
– Ability to provide contact center agents the complete context of an interaction, based on a customer’s activities prior to and during that interaction
– Improved real-time decisioning, using predictive analytics and machine learning, to guide employees to the next best action
