Nokia Corporation announced the Nokia Lumia 925 smartphone on Tuesday.  The Lumia 925 has a metal-finished design and works very well in low lighting.  The Lumia 925 has a new AMOLED display and has advances in PureView imaging technology for capturing sharp pictures.

The Nokia Smart Camera mode allows users to create high quality images.  The Nokia Lumia 925 offers an easy way to take ten shots at once and then edit them afterwards using tools and effects like Best Shot, Action Shot and Motion Focus.

The imaging software improvements will be made available to existing compatible Windows Phone 8 Lumia smartphones in an update called Nokia Lumia Amber coming this summer.

The Nokia Lumia 925 has a 4.5-inch AMOLED WXGA (1280 x 768) display, 1GB of RAM, 16GB user memory, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 8.7-megapixel PureView camera with dual LED flash, a 1.2-megapixel HD wide angle front-facing camera, USB, NFC, GPS, Glonass, and 3.5mm audio connector.  You can buy the Nokia Lumia 925 in yellow, red, white, and black.

The Nokia Lumia 925 will start selling in the U.K., Germany, Italy, and Spain in June with Vodafone.  From there, they will launch in China with China Mobile and China Unicom along with T-Mobile in the U.S.  It will be priced at 469 Euros before any local taxes or subsidies.
