High end retail store, Nordstrom has started to label “Top Pinned Items” in their stores with the Pinterest logo. This will show shoppers what the most popular items are online. This program has been implemented into 13 Nordstrom locations.
Nordstrom’s Pinterest account has over four million followers, which means that discovering what is the most popular items is relatively easy for them.
“It’s our fastest growing social channel,” stated Nordstrom Corporate Affairs rep Colin Johnson in an interview with The Huffington Post. “So we wanted to integrate the feedback that we’re getting from our Pinterest community.”
