NoWait receives $10 million in Series B funding

NoWait is a Pittsburgh-based mobile wait-listing service that has raised $10 million in Series B funding. This round of funding was led by Drive Capital, which is a $250 million Ohio-based fund that focuses on Midwestern companies. NoWait will be using the funding for expanding its presence in restaurants and with consumers along with further product development.

NoWait has an app that shows you nearby restaurants, wait times, and distances. You can also join wait-lists from your phone. NoWait also has a wait-list and table management application that lets restaurants alert patrons about available seats through text messages. NoWait also lets restaurants sent out brief marketing messages with the text message to promote specials.

NoWait has seated over 50 million diners to date and is now seating over 5 million diners per month, which is up from 3.1 million at the start of the year. Some of NoWait’s larger customers include On The Border and Buffalo Wild Wings. There are thousands of restaurants that uses NoWait’s platform today. Some of these restaurants pay for the larger tier of the service, which costs between $59 and $199 per month. Almost 1,000 restaurants have been on-boarded in the last few months.
