NVIDIA Shield Is Now Available For Pre-Order From GameStop And Newegg

NVIDIA Corporation is now starting to sell the NVIDIA Shield for the general public.  NVIDIA’s retail partners Newegg, Gamestop, and Canada Computer have started selling the console today.  Micro Center will start selling the console in June.  The Shield has a Tegra 4 chip, a console-grade controller, 5-inch high-definition multitouch display, speakers, WiFi, 16GB memory, GPS, Bluetooth, HDMI output, microSD storage slot, a headphone jack, and is powered by the Android Jelly Bean operating system.  The console retails for $349.
