Oculus VR, the company behind the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset, has raised $75 million in Series B funding. This round of funding was led by Andreesen Horowitz. Marc Andreesen will be joining the board of directors at Oculus VR. Existing investors Spark Capital, Matrix Partners, and Foundation 8 also participated in this round. Oculus VR was founded by Palmer Luckey and other executives at RedOctane, the developers of the Guitar Hero series. Chris Dixon will also be joining the board of directors at Oculus VR. Oculus VR previously raised $2.4 million from a Kickstarter campaign and $16 million in Series A funding this past June.
