“Office Space” Director Mike Judge To Put Together Pilot About Silicon Valley

Posted Dec 9, 2012

Randi Zuckerberg , the sister of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, created a reality show based on Silicon Valley startups called “Start-Ups: Silicon Valley.”  Now Mike Judge will be creating a show around Silicon Valley for HBO.  Mike Judge is known for creating Beavis and Butthead along with King of the Hill.  He also directed the funny and popular cult movie Office Space about how 3 guys working in cubicles plot to steal from their company — that movie has some great one-liners like “what would you say you do here?” and “I HAVE PEOPLE SKILLS!”

Judge will be working with executive producers John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky.  The show will be a live-action dark comedy filmed with a single camera.  The show will focus on “the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of handling success.”
