Olapic is a startup that has raised $5 million in Series A funding led by Fung Capital USA and Longworth Venture Partners. Existing investors Great Oaks and Scout Ventures also participated in this round.
Olapic is able to take user-generated photos and integrate them within a brand’s channel. Olapic is now heavily focused on working with e-commerce brands to offer user-generated photos to act as a visual review of products.
The company works with retailers to find various hashtags and keywords across social media channels. Brands can insert photos that are sourced into their e-commerce channels from there. Olapic allows the brands to maintain the photos used on the website.
User submissions can be viewed in real time. Brands can also monitor ROI with an analytics dashboard. There are currently 20 live brands that use Olapic including Lululemon, Threadless, New Balance, Jet Blue, and Coach.
