Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL) has announced that it is joining open source software-defined networking (SDN) initiative OpenDaylight as a silver member.
Oracle will be integrating its OpenDaylight into Solaris 11.2. Oracle said it is joining OpenDaylight so that its customers can ?use a common and open SDN platform with OpenStack to manage Oracle Solaris-based clouds.?
