Panasonic launches wearable camcorder called the HX-A500

Panasonic has announced a new wearable action camcorder called the HX-A500. The A500 has NFC, WiFi, and a 1.5-inch LCD monitor. The main unit is separate from the lens and the lens can be mounted at face level to perform hands-free shooting.

The head mount is attached with an ear system support as well. The A500 has 4K video capture at 30 fps to ensure smooth motion.

The A500 can shoot up to a maximum of 160-degree ultra wide-angle for an immersive view. The A500 has EIS Image Stabilization, Level Shot functionality, and IPX8 waterproofing.
