Panorama Education is an education technology startup that launched out of a dorm room at Yale University. Panorama Education is known for offering K-12 schools survey and analytics services. Panorama Education raised $4 million in a seed round of funding led by Startup:Education fund and SoftTech VC.
Startup:Education is a fund started by Facebook CEO and co-founder Mark Zuckerberg. Other investors that participated in this round included Google Ventures, A-Grade Investments, and Yale University.
Aaron Feuer co-founded Panorama Education while he was an undergraduate student at Yale. Panorama analyzes data to offer administrators and educators with insights. The service has been used at over 4,000 schools, including the Los Angeles Unified School District and the Connecticut State Department of Education.
Panorama Education plans on using the funding to launch a new free tool for teachers and to expand data analytics features.
