Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) CEO Paul Otellini said that Intel’s Sandy Bridge chip will make about $125 billion in revenues this year. Sandy Bridge is a chip that combines computing and graphics. The Sandy Bridge chip is going to account for one-third of Intel’s total sales. It has been designed to work on over 500 computer models. It will also reduce costs for PC manufacturing companies. Sandy Bridge is the successor to the second generation Core microprocessors (i3/i5/i7). The Sandy Bridge chip has 1.6 billion transistors and has an advanced 32-nanometer manufacturing process.
