ZooZ is a payment platform startup that has raised $2 million in Series A funding.  This round of funding was led by XSeed Capital.  XSeed was joined by lool Ventures and Rhodium.  Lool and Rhodium also put money into ZooZ’s seed round of funding.

?Our investment in ZooZ highlights the confidence we have in [founder Oren Levy] and his team and their vision to optimize and transform the entire checkout experience,? said XSeed Capital general partner Robert Siegel.

ZooZ has raised a total of $3.5 million in funding.  The company plans on using the funding to increase traction with retailers and on increasing product functionality.

Zooz is based in Israel and the company plans to relocate some employees to the U.S.  ZooZ has a user-friendly checkout platform that prevents online carts from being abandoned.  When ZooZ partnered with MobiCart, they were able to create mobile commerce applications on iOS and Android.  This partnership made it possible for ZooZ to work with 10,000 merchants.  The app’s SDK supports iOS, Android, and HTML5.
