VoloMetrix is an enterprise analytics company that has raised $3.3 million in Series A funding, led by Shasta Ventures. The company raised $1.6 million in seed funding from Shasta last year. VoloMetrix has the ability to analyze business applications to help managers understand what is happening in the sales field. VoloMetrix can be integrated with e-mail, instant message, and CRM tools to get data from employees and give managers insights.
Several months ago, we wrote about how VoloMetrix launched a Sales Modules analytics platform to let sales leaders track what is happening and focus their resources on customer opportunities without any additional data collection. VoloMetrix can see what the best sales teams are doing that is different than everyone else in terms of communications.
“Across many of their corporate functions, large organizations are looking for tools to help them better align people resources with their most important business priorities,? stated VoloMetrix CEO and co-founder Ryan Fuller. “This round of funding will allow us to expand the functionality of our core platform, respond to growing customer demand, and optimize SaaS modules designed to specifically address the needs of sales, engineering, and IT functions.”
VoloMetrix is working with a large number of Fortune 1000 companies by helping them diagnose inefficiencies. The company plans on using the funding to expand development of their Social Enterprise Intelligence platform.
