Persado is a data marketing service that specializes in “Marketing Persuasion Technology.” Persado can help advertisers compose better messaging services that they believe will return greater value. Persado has raised $15 million in a round of funding led by Bain Capital Ventures.
Persado has also received funding from TLcom Capital. Persado will be using the funding to further their investment in research and development along with hiring more engineers, data scientists, and sales/marketing teams.
Persado is based in the United Kingdom, but they will be opening up their U.S. headquarters in New York. Persado was started by Alex Vratskides, known as being the co-founder of mobile marketing solution company Upstream,
Persado computes new messaging that it believes will result in a higher conversion and click-through-rate. This is a way to get around the manual message creation process that is used in multi-channel digital marketing. Persado focuses on six digital channels including the web, e-mail, advertising display, social, mobile, and search. Persado applies “advanced statistical techniques to large datasets in order to rapidly and efficiently generate and test a large number of digital messages.”
Persado integrates with Google Analytics, Omniture, customer relationship management platforms, and e-mail delivery systems. Persado has seen a 100% improvement on click-through rates across their campaigns.
