Posted Dec 7, 2013

According to Reuters, Philips, Samsung, and Media-Saturn offices were raided by the European Commission due to suspicion of breaking competition rules. Media-Saturn is one of Europe’s largest consumer electronic retail store chains. The Commission claims that these companies worked together to limit the sale of some goods online in order to drive up prices. The Commission did not give the names or locations that were inspected by officers on December 3rd. All three of these companies said that they were cooperating with the EU.
