ePrize LLC is a digital engagement company that specializes in mobile, social, and web campaigns. Yesterday the company announced that they were acquired by Catterton Partners. The investment will be used to fuel growth and expansion, especially in the multi-channel engagement and CRM.
ePrize has a technology platform that allows brands to engage with consumers through social media and mobile devices. ePrize administers four times more national campaigns than any other company and is estimating that by the end of 2012, 80% of all their campaigns will have a mobile component.
In July 2011, ePrize acquired a division of Apollo Data Technologies and acquired a mobile solutions company called Cellit in January 2012. ePrize CEO Matt Wise will continue to lead ePrize.

ePrize was founded in Detroit by Josh Linkner in 1999. The company’s headquarters remain in Detroit and they have offices in NY, Chicago, L.A., and Seattle. Linkner currently works as a CEO and Managing Partner of Detroit Venture Partners. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Michigan School of Business and wrote the New York Times Bestselling book “Disciplined Dreaming: A Proven System To Drive Breakthrough Creativity.”
