Rackspace Hosting, Inc. (NYSE:RAX) CEO Lanham Napier announced that he is retiring from his position. Napier made the announcement before the fourth quarter earnings call. Rackspace chairman Graham Weston will work as the CEO again.
Weston was CEO of the company between 1999 and 2006. Weston said that this will be an interim position for him while they find a new long-term successor.
Rackspace has been shifting around their management a bit this past year. Lew Moorman stepped down from the president position in July due to family health issues. Napier took over after that. Rackspace named sales executive Taylor Rhodes president last month.
