Realtime Search Will Return with Google+ Data

Posted Aug 5, 2011

Google’s Realtime Search, temporarily down after the end the company’s contract with Twitter, will soon be up and running again with the help of data from Google+ and other social networks. Mashable reports that the realtime data stream is on its way back and that the team is working on a search engine for the Google+ stream. The Realtime Search has been down for a little over a month now, but Google Fellow Amit Singhal confirmed in a panel that the team is “actively working” on returning the service to users.
