Remind101 has received $15 million in funding

Remind101 is a mobile messaging service for teachers that has raised $15 million in funding led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers with participation from The Social+Capital Partnership and First Round Capital. Remind101 has also added John Doerr to their board of directors. The funding will be used for expanding staff and building new products. Remind101 is used by over 600,000 teachers and it has around 10 million users overall. Remind101 has around 15 staff members and they might expand to around 35-40 by the end of the year. Remind101 was used to help solve communication obstacles between teachers, students, and parents across all grade levels.
