Report: Amazon is going to launch a free video-streaming service

Next week, is reportedly going to announce a new streaming device in New York City, according to The Wall Street Journal. The device will reportedly include a free ad-supported streaming service.


This service will not be limited to just Amazon Prime subscribers. The report says that the service will be available to anyone that is willing to watch ads, just like Hulu. The video streaming service will also include original and licensed programming.

Amazon’s device will also support third party streaming services like Pandora, Netflix, and HBO Go.
