Apple has paid 20 million Swiss francs ($21 million) to the Swiss national rail company SBB for using their trademarked clock design on the iPad without permission according to a Tages-Anzeiger report.  Apple paid the lump sum in order to continue using the Swiss-designed station clock face on the iPad.  The design for the click was designed in 1944 by Swiss engineer Hans Hilfiker and is a property of the SBB.
