REPORT: HTC’s Third Quarter Profits Are Down 91%

HTC is a Taiwanese smartphone company that is struggling against to compete against other large smartphone companies like Samsung and Apple.  As Apple and Samsung grows, HTC gets dominated.  HTC’s third quarter profits were down 80%.  HTC has vowed to redouble their efforts in marketing and to develop innovative phones like the HTC Butterfly.  The Butterfly is a 5-inch screen that launched last year.  According to figures that are unaudited, HTC’s net income fell 91% for Q4 2012 from Q4 2011.  The revenue fell from NT$101.42 billion to NT$60 billion.  HTC is not the only company that is struggling to compete?
