Microsoft Corporation is reportedly wrapping the development of Windows 8.1, but it will not be arriving until October. Originally Windows 8.1 was supposed to arrive in late August, but that is not expected to happen anymore, according to ZDNet.
Microsoft will be rolling out the new operating system along with a new slate of devices in October. This gap time will allow OEMs to test drivers and find bugs in the integration process.
Some of the features to look forward to in Windows 8.1 is 3D printer support and a feature that is similar to the Start Menu.
