The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Sony will be announcing the PlayStation 4 on February 20th and is supposed to hit the shelves by the end of the year. I have a hard time believing the Wall Street Journal because it seems unlikely that Sony would announce a product that would not be available for sale 10 months later.
Sony CEO said that the next PlayStation will not be coming out until after the next Xbox. The problem is that sales of the Sony PlayStation 3 was hurt because it arrived one year after the Xbox 360. Earlier we reported that the Sony PlayStation 4 control will have touch screens and biometric sensors.
