RiskIQ is an enterprise security solutions company.  The company’s technology interacts with websites and mobile applications, which models user behavior to find anomalies, policy violations, and undetected threats.  RiskIQ has a worldwide proxy network that spans across the globe.  RiskIQ scans millions of websites and mobile apps to provide enterprises with visibility and control.  The company has raised $10 million in Series A funding from private equity firm Summit Partners.

This is RiskIQ’s first institutional funding round.  The company plans on using the funding to expand development for their cybersecurity product.  They will also increase investment in their sales, marketing, and business development activities.  Many of RiskIQ clients are Fortune 500 companies.

“As our success to date has proven, enterprises of all types are concerned about the changing threat environment. Many of their most valuable digital assets lie outside company firewalls where hackers can perpetrate fraud or steal confidential data,” stated RiskIQ chief executive officer and co-founder Elias Manousos. “This major capital infusion from Summit Partners will allow us to continue accelerating the pace of innovation with our proprietary approach to web and mobile security, while expanding our global customer base.”
