RiskIQ receives $25 million in funding

RiskIQ is an enterprise security company that has raised $25 million in Series B funding led by Battery Ventures with participation from Summit Partners. The company offers security monitoring services to handle malware and malicious software built into mobile apps. RiskIQ uses a global proxy network to scan tens of millions of websites per day to notify clients of malicious activity that pops up. Eight out of the ten largest financial service organizations use RiskIQ to track its websites and mobile apps. RiskIQ will be using the funding to target several markets, including: e-commerce, insurance, and consumer-packaged goods.
