Roku has added the ability to stream content that is stored on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch directly to several of their set-top TV products. The newly updated Roku for iOS app adds to the company’s “Play on Roku” services, which lets users stream photos and music on a Roku device.
This feature can be used on the Roku 3, Roku 2, Roku HD, Roku LT, and Roku Streaming Stick. This feature is available on iOS only as of right now and it applies to content that is stored on an iOS Camera Roll like photos and videos.
