SalesPredict is a company that helps sales teams find customers using predictive analytics. SalesPredict has raised $4.1 million in Series A funding today from Yandex and KGC Capital. SalesPredict was founded by CEO Yaron Zakai-Or and CTO Kira Radinsky. Both of them worked at Microsoft together for several years and has been wanting to start a company to help salespeople make better decisions.
SalesPredict looks at the successes and failures from past deals as a starting point for teaching the algorithm which deals are likely to succeed. SalesPredict also uses data from websites like Wikipedia, Google, and Yahoo! to gather details about people and companies. And public social profiles are pulled in as well.
SalesPredict gives the company a grade of A to D based on how likely the prospect will be turned into a sale. A is the most likely and D is the least likely. SalesPitch also provides information on the best way to pitch the customers and what their pain points are. SalesPredict is currently used as a plugin for Salesforce.com and is available on the Salesforce App Exchange. A Marketo version is coming soon.
